I consider Carol Todd to be my creative mentor. We
came to know each other 25 years ago, through a mutual love for colors
in nature and a desire to create beautiful hand crafted clothing.
We walked many a mile together discovering the location of the plants
she required for her passions with dyes. After many years of research
with the dye plants from the San Luis Obispo, California area, she
published a comprehensive book on the properties of each plant and
the process for obtaining its best color results. We worked together
on many projects to create transformational costumes for women in
search of Spirit. Her continued work is exceptional. I am eternally
grateful for her creative energy in my life. Please take a look at
her current works; they are a feast for the eyes.

A Fine Arts and Crafts Cooperative |
In December of 2006 I was accepted into the Verksted
Galley in Poulsbo Washington. The Gallery is only a mile
from my home which makes for a nice walk. This gallery will
celebrate it's 20th successful year of operation this coming summer.
I am proud to be a part of this fine community of artists.
